My lovely new RPG Character, Cahir

Her casual use name is Cahir (pronounced KA-heer) because her dad wanted a boy. Formally, she uses Mahtaner. She carries a Highland Claymore about, though she also sometimes uses an enchanted fishing trident for battle. She has an appearance detracting Rurouni Kenshin style cross scar on the bridge of her nose and she's at least partially elven.

It is said that she swore upon her broadsword that she would protect the ones she loved, while young, after years of training. She believes that people need to endure and even understand pain to become truly strong, but true strength comes at a price. She believes that He Who Lives in the Timeless Halls will watch over those called by His' name, and there is good in all situations, if you can see it. She believes in never leaving a guy behind for the enemy. She believes in defending the weak, and protecting both young and old. In this mindset, she is constantly searching, wherever she goes, for her best friend. She's also searching for something to remove her dishonour in having lost her friend, such as a person in basically the same situation, who has responded differently and needs a beating. A core issue of her's is believing in being straight. Not that either of us like to talk about that.


Cahir is suspiciously similar to you as you'd like to be. She may be popular, or she may not, but no matter what she's impossible to ignore; she stands out... just the way you always wanted to. There's never been anything special about her that she could see; boy, is she in for a surprise. She's got no emotional scars to speak of. And she's gotten no slack from you. 

In general, you care deeply about Cahir, but you're smart enough to let her stand on her own, without burdening her with your personal fantasies or propping her up with idealization and over-dramatization. Cahir is a healthy character with a promising career ahead of her.
